Science Foundation Ireland - Dr Emmeline Hill

Dr Emmeline Hill (co-founder & Chairman, Equinome) was awarded a Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) President of Ireland Young Researcher Award (PIYRA) - the Irish state body's most prestigious award for promising young researchers - in 2004.  This award supported a five year programme of work to investigate "The genomics of performance in Thoroughbred Horses", a project endorsed by the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders' Association.
