Dr Emmeline Hill to present at Thoroughbred Pedigree & Genetics Symposium, Lexington KY

Dr Emmeline Hill, co-founder of Equinome, will present at the first Pedigree and Genetics Symposium to be held at the Marriott Griffin Gate Hotel in Lexington, Kentucky on October 11.

Dr Hill will be presenting on her identification of the 'Speed Gene', which is the world's first characterization of a gene contributing to a specific athletic trait in Thoroughbred horses. Dr Hill will explain both the science behind the test and how the information provided by it can be used to optimize purchasing, training and breeding decisions to maximize the genetic potential and commercial value of a horse.
